IELTS

Duration - 45 Classes (3 hr. per session)

IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is a global test for proficiency in English language accepted in most countries. It is conducted by three reputed international organization- British council, IDP: IELTS Australia and Cambridge ESOL. It tests the four language skills: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. You can choose from two types of tests Academic or General depending on whether you want to study, work or migrate. The results are graded on the IELTS 9 band scale.


IELTS test is divided into two Modules, Academic and General Training:-


{1.} Academic: is for candidates who wish to study at tertiary level in English-speaking countries.


{2.} General: is for candidates who wish to pursue high school studies or Less Linguistically demanding courses or wish to immigrate to Australia or New Zealand.


IELTS King offers a preparation course for IELTS and its purpose is to give students the background knowledge, techniques, disciplined environment and practice materials in the prescribed format to enable them to get acceptable scores on the test.


Course Details:

There are four sub-modules Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. ALL candidates take the same Listening and speaking modules. Academic Module candidates take the Academic Reading and the Academic Writing module, while General Training candidates take the General Reading module and the General Writing module.

Australia scholarship @ University of south Australia




Overview

Recipients will receive a 25% reduction in their student contributions (tuition fees) for their first year of study into their chosen program, up to a maximum of two semesters or eight courses. Students will be automatically assessed when applying for an eligible program.

Scholarship criteria

The International Merit Scholarship will be awarded to selected international students who meet the following criteria.
  •  Be a prospective international student
  •  Be eligible to study in Australia
  •  Not have accepted any other UniSA scholarship or bursary
  •  Have achieved the UniSA equivalent of a credit average in previous studies
  •  Meet normal program admission requirements for the program applied into
  •  Apply for, and accepted into, an eligible undergraduate (Bachelor's Degree) or postgraduate (Masters by coursework) program offered at UniSA

Scholarship conditions

  •  International Merit Scholarship recipients will be required to be enrolled on a full-time basis at UniSA’s South Australian campuses
  •  Scholarship payments (25% of tuition fees) will be provided as a discount on successful applicants’ student contribution invoice (tuition fee) at the commencement of each applicable study period in the first year of study
  •  The scholarship applies to the first year of study only, up to a maximum of two semesters or eight courses (36 units)
  •  As a recipient of the scholarship, I am not entitled to receive any credit/RPL/Advanced Standing (whether at the time of offer or subsequently)
  •  The scholarship cannot be deferred

International Merit Scholarships are NOT available to:

  •  Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia
  •  Sponsored students (foreign government or Australian government)
  •  Students studying in Diplomas, Graduate Diplomas, Graduate Certificates, Associate Degrees and Research Degrees

  •  Step 2 - Check entry requirements. Confirm you meet all entry requirements (English, academic and program specific requirements) for your program
  •  Step 3 - Make sure your program is eligible for these scholarships. See the list of eligible programs below.
  •  Step 4 - Apply for your program. Once you have submitted an application for an eligible program you will automatically be assessed and we will advise you if you’re successful. unisa.edu.au/international-apply
